Mountain pine oil has been valued as a precious natural remedy for as long as anyone can remember. Generation after generation turned to the special strength of alpine plants for body and well-being. The first distilleries appeared as early as the late 19th century to capture this essence in its pure form. The Thaler family has carried on this craft for over 100 years – now in its third generation at its current home in Reinswald, in the Sarntal valley of South Tyrol. Through continuous modernisation, tested processes and certified quality, the business combines traditional knowledge with modern production standards.
