From alpine wild plant to precious essence

As soon as the snow melts in spring, the traditional harvest of mountain pine begins in the Alps. The needle-covered branches are cut by hand, tied into heavy bundles, and transported across sometimes challenging terrain to the collection point – in steep regions, even down to the valley using wire ropes. The branches are then shredded and processed in the company's own distillery using gentle steam distillation. After about six hours of distillation, the essential oil is separated from the condensate, filtered, and bottled. This process yields a pure, natural mountain pine oil with the full power of the mountains.
